Job summary

Orient House for Development & Construction LLC is seeking an experienced Architectural Engineer to join our Abu Dhabi team. The role focuses on reviewing drawings, coordinating with disciplines, supervising site execution, and ensuring compliance with approved designs and standards.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years of UAE construction experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit/BIM knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, and submittals.
• Coordinate architectural works with structural, MEP, and other disciplines.
• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with drawings and specs.
• Prepare technical reports and maintain project documentation.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing architectural drawings, coordinating with engineering disciplines, supervising site execution, and ensuring that all architectural works comply with approved designs, project specifications, and quality standards.

Main Responsibilities:

• Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals.
• Coordinate architectural works with structural, MEP, and other engineering disciplines.
• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and coordinate with consultants to resolve technical issues.

• Ensure architectural works meet quality standards and approved project timelines.

• Identify design discrepancies and propose appropriate technical solutions.

Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering or Architecture.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in building construction projects.
• Previous experience in the UAE construction industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of architectural drawings, specifications, and construction materials.
• Experience in site supervision, technical coordination, and quality control.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit and BIM is an advantage.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Knowledge of Abu Dhabi authority requirements and relevant approval procedures is an advantage.
