Job summary

ALSERH ALKABEER CONST .LLC is seeking an experienced architect to prepare and coordinate architectural shop drawings for high-rise building projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture and have at least 3 years of experience in high-rise construction.

The role involves developing detailed construction drawings, ensuring compliance with regulations, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure successful project execution. Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory, while knowledge of Revit or BIM is a plus.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and coordinate strong architectural shop drawings for high-rise building projects.
• Develop detailed construction drawings ensuring compliance with project specifications, consultant requirements and local authority regulations.
• Coordinate architectural shop drawings with structural, MEP and other disciplines to eliminate clashes before execution.
• Review IFC drawings and prepare necessary revisions based on site conditions and consultant comments.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, consultants and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of architectural works.
• Review material submittals, method statements and architectural samples for compliance with project requirements.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure construction activities are carried out as per approved shop drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in a contracting/construction company.
• High-rise building construction experience is mandatory.
• Hands-on experience in preparing and coordinating architectural shop drawings is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of construction detailing, finishing works, and construction methodologies.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (mandatory); knowledge of Revit/BIM is an added advantage.
• Good understanding of UAE building codes and authority approval processes.
