Job summary

Leading international law firm in Dubai seeks a Funds Associate to advise on private funds, asset management, and cross-border transactions across the GCC.

You will work on DIFC/ADGM structures, GP/LP arrangements, and investor documentation, gaining direct client exposure within a growing regional funds platform.

Qualifications

• 2–5 PQE in funds and investments is preferred.
• Experience advising fund sponsors, asset managers and investors.
• UK/US/international firm background is valued.

Responsibilities

• Advise on formation and structuring of private investment funds.
• Handle private equity, venture capital, infrastructure and real estate funds.
• Work on DIFC/ADGM fund structures and cross-border matters.
• Negotiate investor subscriptions, side letters and M&A-style terms.
• Address GP/LP arrangements, carried interest and incentives.
• Assist on co-investments and secondary transactions.
• Support investment management and advisory platforms.
• Engage in cross-border fundraising and regulatory matters.

Job description

A leading international law firm is continuing to invest in the growth of its Middle East Investment Funds practice and is looking to hire an ambitious Funds Associate into its Dubai office

About the role

The role will involve advising fund sponsors asset managers institutional investors family offices and sovereign wealth funds on a broad range of regional and cross-border funds matters

• Formation and structuring of private investment funds
• Private equity venture capital infrastructure private credit and real estate funds
• DIFC and ADGM fund structures
• Investor negotiations subscription documentation and side letters
• GP LP arrangements carried interest and management incentive structures
• Co-investments and secondary transactions
• Investment management and advisory platforms
• Cross-border fundraising and related regulatory matters

The team works across the UAE Saudi Arabia and wider GCC with the successful candidate gaining significant responsibility and direct client exposure alongside access to the firm s wider international corporate private equity real estate and financial services practices

Qualifications

• Ideally 2 5 PQE, although this is a guideline
• Funds experience gained with a leading UK, US, international law firm
• Strong private funds / asset management experience
• England & Wales / Common law qualification and strong academics
• DIFC / ADGM experience advantageous, but not essential
