Job summary

Gartner is seeking an Associate Legal Counsel to provide commercial legal support for the Gulf region. You will review, draft and negotiate a range of contracts including framework/service agreements, orders and NDAs, working with Sales and Compliance teams to mitigate risks.

The role emphasizes practical, timely legal support, cross-functional collaboration and adherence to Gartner policies. Fluent English and Arabic are required, with 3–5 years PQE and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Qualified attorney or lawyer authorized to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Written and verbal fluency in English and Arabic.
• Approximately 3–5 years of post-qualification experience supporting commercial and transactional legal matters.
• Experience reviewing, drafting or negotiating commercial contracts and related documentation.
• Experience supporting Sales or other business teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze and summarize commercial contracts including framework and service agreements, orders, statements of work and NDAs.
• Support drafting, review and negotiation of contracts, purchase orders and modifications.
• Identify legal and commercial risks and elevate high-risk issues to senior Legal & Compliance.
• Provide guidance on contractual terms, processes and approval requirements.
• Support resolution of accounts receivable issues and contract-related business matters.
• Participate in client discussions to clarify positions and explore solutions.
• Maintain records of contract reviews, negotiations, approvals and related matters.
• Work with Sales, Finance, Operations and other stakeholders to streamline contracting processes.
• Contribute to development of legal templates and guidance materials.
• Assist regional Legal & Compliance teams on corporate, privacy and compliance matters.
