Job summary

YOSH HOSPITALITY LLC OPC seeks a skilled pastry chef for a high‑end private household in Abu Dhabi. You will craft authentic Arabic pastries and desserts, lead a pastry team, and design seasonal menus for formal dining and travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ professional pastry experience in Arabic/Middle Eastern desserts.
• Experience supervising pastry staff and setting standards.
• Strong knowledge of doughs, syrups, cheeses and custards in Arabic traditions.
• Ability to adapt recipes for contemporary presentation and dietary needs.
• Excellent organisational skills, portion control and cost awareness.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Arabic pastries and desserts with authentic flavours and high‑quality presentation.
• Plan production schedules and mise en place to meet daily service and event timelines.
• Prepare pastry items from scratch with consistency and cost control.
• Design seasonal menus and bespoke dessert offerings for formal dining and travel.
• Supervise, train and mentor pastry staff, coaching and evaluating performance.
• Manage stock, supplier relationships and inventory records.
• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene and HACCP compliance across pastry areas.
• Maintain recipe records, allergens, and production sheets for audits.
• Coordinate with Head Chef and household staff for dietary requests and plating.
• Assist with packing and transport of pastry items for travel or events.
