Job summary

Taaleem in Dubai seeks a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support the learning and personal development of named students, under the guidance of the class teacher and Year/Grade Leader. You will help implement IEP targets, monitor progress, and ensure a safe, inclusive learning environment.

You will provide informal feedback, report concerns to colleagues, and assist across activities, including stepping in for other areas when required.

Qualifications

• Assist in implementing IEP targets and monitoring progress
• Provide informal feedback to students under supervision
• Adhere to safeguarding and child protection policies

Responsibilities

• Work within the framework set by the assigned teacher and Year/Grade Level Leader
• Supervise and facilitate individual support for named student
• Record and share concerns and progress with the teacher and colleagues
• Contribute to the wellbeing of children across physical, emotional and social needs
• Attend staff meetings and PD days as required
• Support in extracurricular activities when required
• Be flexible to support in other areas of the school as needed
