Job summary

International Schools Partnership - US & Canada in Dubai seeks a Learning Support Assistant to support students with diverse learning needs and help them access the curriculum in an inclusive, caring environment.

You will collaborate with teachers and inclusion staff, contribute to IEPs/learning plans, and uphold UAE MoE and KHDA standards while safeguarding students’ wellbeing and development.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children in an educational setting.
• Knowledge of inclusive practices, differentiation, and classroom management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and understanding of children’s needs.
• Awareness of safeguarding, child protection, and wellbeing requirements.
• Experience in international schools or UAE education (desirable).
• Training in SEND, ELL support, or inclusion strategies (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Support teachers in delivering lessons and activities.
• Provide individualised or small-group support for diverse learners.
• Use strategies and resources to engage students with the curriculum.
• Assist in preparing resources and adapting materials.
• Monitor progress and report observations to teachers.
• Contribute to IEPs and learning plans.
• Promote positive behaviour and safeguarding.
• Collaborate with teachers and inclusion staff; participate in training.
