Job summary

Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre is seeking a Commis 1 to support daily kitchen operations, prepare mise en place, and help deliver the exceptional Waldorf service that guests expect.

You will work under the Chef De Partie and Executive Chef, gain exposure to multiple outlets, maintain kitchen hygiene, and contribute to minimizing waste while learning and growing in a luxury hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Commis Chef or similar role.
• Basic food hygiene certification required or proof of completion.
• Interest in hotel culinary operations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily kitchen operations and mise en place.
• Ensure food quality and freshness for all prepared items.
• Maintain kitchen hygiene and cleanliness to required standards.
• Support different outlets and follow Chef De Partie instructions.
• Minimize food wastage and participate in briefings and hotel events.
