Job summary

The University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD) is seeking an engaging Lecturer in Management to join the School of Business and contribute to undergraduate programs, delivering management concepts through case-based learning, applied projects and interactive teaching.

You will teach across core Management subjects and support students in developing critical thinking, communication, teamwork and decision-making for use in diverse, international business contexts.

Qualifications

• PhD in Management, Business or related field.
• Relevant higher education teaching experience, preferably undergraduate.
• Ability to teach across a range of Management subjects.
• Evidence of effective, engaging and student-centred teaching practice.
• Ability to incorporate practical business cases and contemporary organisational issues into teaching.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Familiarity with digital learning platforms and contemporary teaching technologies.
• Ability to collaborate within an academic team on curriculum development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials and other learning activities.
• Design learning experiences that connect management theory with contemporary business practice.
• Use case studies, applied projects, simulations and experiential methods to develop analytical skills.
• Design and mark assessments with timely feedback.
• Provide academic consultation and support student progression.
• Utilize LMS and digital tools to enhance teaching and engagement.
• Contribute to subject development, curriculum review and quality improvements.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency across subjects and programs.
