Job summary

Baker Hughes Company is seeking a Services Specialist - Applications Engineering in Abu Dhabi. You will design and manage technical job programs, work with Service Delivery Coordinators, and ensure flawless execution through pre-planning to post-job analysis.

The role spans multiple disciplines across a global matrix organization and requires travel to rig sites and facilities. You will lead design of application-specific solutions, document calculations, and provide on-demand support during

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics.
• Excellent leadership, strong interpersonal, influencing and planning skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Must have the ability to travel (potential for travel to rig sites, customer facilities, meetings, training, etc.)
• Ability to be on call outside of normal business hours
• Ability to work in a global matrix organization.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with the Job Cycle (MtJC) process.
• Understand client objectives and commercial terms; coordinate with Service Delivery Coordinator/Salesperson.
• Perform offset job analysis and engineering modelling to understand hazards.
• Collaborate with disciplines to ensure all aspects are considered.
• Design a job program with risk mitigation and contingency plans.
• Document calculations and changes for audit purposes.
• Provide on-demand support during job execution.
• Compare planned vs executed jobs and derive improvements.
• Address field incidents and participate in investigations when required.
• Communicate incidents to clients and support cash collection.
• Advise on product improvement opportunities.
• Provide sales support and product recommendations.
