Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Field Engineer for its Emerging Talent Program in Abu Dhabi. The program lasts about 36 months, training you to install, maintain, and start up equipment while interfacing with on-site teams and clients.

Graduates with an engineering degree (last 36 months) and a GPA of 2.75+ are encouraged to apply. You will gain leadership, data analysis, and project management experience in a global organization.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (all fields) within the last 36 months.
• Minimum GPA of 2.75/4.0 (or equivalent).
• Fluent in written and spoken English with excellent communication skills.
• Legally entitled to work without sponsorship or time restriction.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to guide others.
• Demonstrate leadership, critical thinking, numeracy, data analysis and project management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with crew members to deploy tools and services, including customer liaison and shore-based Operations Managers.
• Contribute to solving complex technical problems through hands-on work at the rig site.
• Prepare, document, and receive outbound/inbound equipment and products to/from the well site.
• Support tenders with data analysis and cost estimates, and perform invoicing activities.
• Engage in job shadowing to develop a holistic understanding of the business.
