Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Applications Database Administrator (Apps DBA) to manage maintain and optimize our diverse database and application environments. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise in Oracle Applications and a wide range of database systems including SQL Server MySQL MongoDB PostgreSQL and Oracle APEX. Additional knowledge in technologies like WebLogic Oracle RAC ASM Sharding and Pgpool is highly desirable.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Administer and support Oracle E-Business Suite / Oracle Applications environments.
• Perform installation configuration tuning patching and upgrades for databases including:
• Oracle Database (including RAC and ASM)
• SQL Server MySQL MongoDB PostgreSQL (with Pgpool and Sharding)
• Manage and configure Oracle APEX applications.
• Administer and support WebLogic Server for application deployment and performance tuning.
• Monitor system performance identify issues and implement solutions.
• Ensure high availability backup and disaster recovery solutions across platforms.
• Work with development and infrastructure teams to support application lifecycle and deployment.
• Implement database security policies and best practices.
• Develop and maintain documentation for database architectures configurations processes and procedures.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
• 5 years of experience as an Applications DBA or similar role.

Hands-on experience with:

• Oracle E-Business Suite / Applications DBA tasks
• Oracle RAC and ASM
• WebLogic Server
• SQL Server MySQL PostgreSQL and MongoDB administration
• Oracle APEX development/support
• PostgreSQL Sharding and Pgpool setup and tuning
• Strong understanding of database security backup recovery and high availability.
• Excellent problem-solving and performance tuning skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
