Job summary

Confidential in Abu Dhabi seeks an Application Support Specialist to ensure smooth operation, stability, and performance of business applications. You will troubleshoot, deploy, monitor, and support environments to maintain high availability and operational continuity.

You will provide L1–L3 support, manage deployments across development, UAT, and production, resolve SQL and database issues, monitor with Dynatrace or similar tools, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to prevent incidents

Qualifications

Foundational understanding of architecture and runtime environments.
Proficient in diagnosing issues across logs, runtime behavior, and back-end systems.
Hands-on deployment experience with CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
Strong SQL skills and database schema/data access troubleshooting.
Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, ELK, Grafana, or Prometheus.

Responsibilities

Provide L1–L3 support for business applications and resolve incidents promptly.
Perform application troubleshooting across architecture, runtime, integrations, and backend components.
Manage deployments across development, UAT, and production environments.
Investigate DB issues, run SQL queries, validate schemas, and resolve data access problems.
Monitor performance using monitoring tools and respond to alerts proactively.
Collaborate with dev, infra, and business teams to ensure smooth operations.
Conduct RCA and document recurring issues for knowledge base.
Support change, release, and production go-live activities.
Maintain logs, dashboards and monitoring configurations.
Ensure compliance with internal standards and security policies.
