Job summary

Taptap Send in Dubai is seeking a data engineer/analyst to own dbt models end-to-end, design, build, and maintain domain models with tests and schema coverage to scale data reliability.

You will lead high-priority cross-functional data projects with Finance, Compliance, Product and Markets, enable self-serve analytics through Looker/Mode, and help accelerate month-end reporting and audits.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a data role (Analytics Engineering and/or Data Science).
• Strong SQL skills and comfortable working with large, complex datasets in dbt.
• Experience with modern BI tools such as Looker or Mode and enabling real self-serve analytics.

Responsibilities

• Own dbt models end-to-end design, build and maintain the models in your domain with tests and schema coverage.
• Lead high-priority cross-functional data projects spanning Finance, Compliance, Product and Markets.
• Partner with teams across the business to ensure domains are modeled correctly.
• Support business-critical Finance and Compliance reporting and build data pipelines for month-end close and audits.
• Keep data trustworthy by building tests, checks and alerts.
• Apply AI tools and agents across the modelling lifecycle to accelerate development and improve data quality.
