Job summary

Bayut & dubizzle is hiring an Associate Data Engineer to join our data team in Dubai. You will work on end-to-end data lifecycle projects, from ingestion to data modelling and visualization, within a cloud data warehouse environment.

You will learn to build batch and real-time pipelines using serverless AWS services and collaborate with product, marketing, finance, and tech teams to deliver data-driven features.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with customer-centric data at big data scale.
• Experience with Python and SQL.
• Knowledge of relational and dimensional data models.
• Experience with modern data warehouse, ETL, and data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Perform raw data integrations with primary and third-party systems.
• Model data warehouses for operational and application data layers.
• Develop in Amazon Redshift and SQL as part of an agile team.
• Design ETL processes in Matillion ETL.
• Build real-time data pipelines using AWS services like Lambda and Kinesis.
• Create data products and dashboards with Periscope Data.
• Ensure data quality, security, and reliability.
