Job summary

Taptap Send is seeking a hands-on Analytics Engineer to design, build and maintain dbt models used by Finance, Product, and Markets. You will own domain models and tackle high-priority data projects that span teams, delivering trusted answers from first principles.

You’ll collaborate with Head of Data and cross-functional partners to enable data-driven decisions. Ideal candidates have 4+ years in data roles, strong SQL, and experience with Looker/Mode.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a data role (Analytics Engineering and/or Data Science).
• Strong SQL skills and experience handling large, complex datasets.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience with BI tools (Looker, Mode) and enabling self-serve analytics.
• Detail-oriented and pragmatic with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Own dbt models end-to-end, with tests and documentation.
• Lead high-priority, cross-functional data projects spanning multiple teams.
• Partner with Product, Finance, Compliance and Markets to model domains accurately.
• Support critical reporting and dashboards, delivering reliable datasets.
• Keep data trustworthy with tests, checks and alerts.
• Apply AI tools to improve modeling and data quality.
• Contribute to the analytics community through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
