Job summary

The Clinical Intelligence Analyst at Imperial College London Diabetes & Endocrine Centre drives data analysis, reporting, and BI efforts across the Outpatient Cluster. You will build and maintain dashboards, extracts, and reports using CCL/SQL to support quality, regulatory, and accreditation activities.

You will collaborate with clinical quality teams, translate findings into actionable insights, and help advance performance improvement initiatives within Abu Dhabi’s multi-branch network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management Systems, Business Administration, or another related field.
• Minimum three years’ combined experience in healthcare data analysis and report generation, including at least one year using a database programming language such as CCL, SQL, or similar for report development, and at least one year collaborating with clinical quality teams and/or supporting process improvement activities.
• Working knowledge of regulatory and accreditation activities, including Abu Dhabi Department of Health Jawda, Tasneef audits, and Joint Commission International

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support healthcare data reports, extracts, and dashboards to inform quality, clinical, operational, regulatory, and accreditation activities.
• Use database programming languages, including CCL, SQL, or similar tools, to support report development and data extraction.
• Analyze healthcare data to identify trends, variation, gaps, and opportunities that support performance monitoring and improvement.
• Collaborate with clinical quality teams and process improvement stakeholders to support KPI monitoring, reporting, and improvement activities.
• Support regulatory and accreditation reporting requirements, including activities related to DOH/DHA, Jawda, Tasneef audits, and Joint Commission International standards.
• Validate data outputs for accuracy, completeness, and consistency to support reliable reporting and decision-making.
• Translate data findings into clear reports, dashboards, summaries, and insights for clinical, operational, quality, and leadership stakeholders.
• Contribute to projects that strengthen healthcare analytics, business intelligence, reporting processes, and strategic quality goals

The Clinical Intelligence Analyst supports data analysis, report generation, and business intelligence activities within the Outpatient Cluster. The role is responsible for developing and maintaining reports, extracts, and data outputs that support clinical quality, process improvement, regulatory reporting, accreditation readiness, and operational decision-making. This position requires hands-on experience with database programming languages (i.e. CCL or SQL), strong healthcare data analysis skills, and the ability to collaborate with clinical quality and process improvement teams to translate data into meaningful insights.
