Job summary

Imperial College London Diabetes & Endocrine Centre (ICLDEC) in the UAE seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver patient-centered outpatient care. You will support clinicians, perform nursing assessments, and educate patients and families across a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Nursing, DOH licensure eligibility, and 1–3 years’ outpatient experience, with strong leadership and critical-thinking abilities to drive quality outcomes.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate efficient patient flow for outpatient clinics.
• Perform nursing assessments, vital signs, venipuncture, specimens, meds administration.
• Document assessments and outcomes in Cerner EMR promptly.
• Support physicians and allied health professionals during consultations and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with M42 policies, infection prevention, patient safety, and regulatory guidelines.
• Provide patient and family education on treatment plans and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with Pharmacy, Laboratory, Radiology, and Revenue Cycle Management.
• Participate in quality improvement, incident reporting, and management of supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate efficient patient flow to ensure a seamless outpatient experience and effective clinic operations.
• Perform nursing assessments and clinical procedures within scope of practice, including vital signs monitoring, venipuncture, specimen collection, and medication administration.
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record (Cerner) in a timely manner.
• Support physicians and allied health professionals during consultations, examinations, and outpatient procedures.
• Ensure compliance with M42 policies, infection prevention and control standards, patient safety requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Provide patient and family education on treatment plans, medications, procedures, and follow-up care instructions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Pharmacy, Laboratory, Radiology, and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), to support coordinated patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, incident reporting, and the effective management of clinical supplies and equipment.
