Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab in Dubai is seeking a VIP Guest Liaison to ensure unmatched service for high-profile guests and dignitaries. You will coordinate across departments, anticipate needs, and uphold the brand’s renowned guest experience.

The role requires English proficiency, luxury hospitality experience, and a proactive, culturally aware attitude to deliver personalized and discreet service to guests from around the world.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in luxury hospitality preferred.
• Proactive and guest-focused approach.
• Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests and serve as liaison for UAE and Arabic VIPs and dignitaries, addressing needs and handling complaints.
• Provide training on local culture and UAE traditions to colleagues, sharing history and cuisine with diverse guests.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel operations and F&B outlets; conduct site inspections for VIP delegations.
• Review VIP reservations and coordinate with managers to ensure premier treatment and courtesies.
• Build rapport with high-profile guests, track preferences, and update VIP profiles for seamless recognition.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Security, Front Office, Transportation and Housekeeping for smooth operations.

About the Job

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Interact with guests and serve as a liaison for UAE and Arabic Royalty, VIPs, and Dignitaries, ensuring their needs are met and handling their complaints .
• Provide training and awareness of local culture, including Ramadan, Eid, National Day, and other Islamic occasions, to colleagues, and share the history and cuisine of the UAE with Western and non-Arabic guests.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the hotel, including all departments, services, and food and beverage outlets, and conduct site inspections for F&B venues and Arabic VIP delegations.
• Review daily VIP and reservations reports, liaise with departmental managers on the welcoming of high-profile VIPs, and ensure they receive the appropriate treatment and courtesies.
• Build and maintain rapport with high-profile VIP guests, track their preferences and special requests, and ensure VIP guest profiles are updated regularly to facilitate guest recognition.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with Finance, Sales, Security, Front Office, Transportation, and housekeeping departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Certificate
• Previous experience in a similar role within luxury hospitality, hotels and resorts.
• Proactive approach to handling guest requests
• Passion for delivering personalized guest experiences and maintaining the highest service standards
• Proficiency in English is essential, any additional language is a benefit
