Job summary

The American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) seeks an organized Officer – Alumni Engagement and Employability to join its Alumni and Career Services Department. You will build relationships with alumni, employers, and industry partners while supporting students in developing career readiness skills and accessing opportunities.

The role involves coordinating career development programs, organizing events, and reporting on engagement and outcomes to enhance graduate employability in the UAE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Desirable: Master’s degree in related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in higher education or student/alumni settings.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement alumni engagement initiatives.
• Maintain alumni records and databases.
• Facilitate alumni involvement in university activities.
• Support delivery of career development programs and workshops.
• Guide students and graduates in CVs, interviews, and job-search strategies.
• Organize career fairs, recruitment days, and employer events.
