Job summary

The American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) seeks an Alumni Engagement Coordinator to lead initiatives connecting students, alumni and employers on campus in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.

You will develop programs, manage records, organize events, and provide career guidance, CV and interview prep, while building relationships with industry partners.

This role emphasizes strong communication, bilingual English and Arabic fluency, and collaboration with university stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Mass Communication, Education, or Liberal Arts.
• Minimum 2 years post-degree professional work experience.
• Experience in customer-facing organizational settings.
• Proven understanding of Higher Education.
• Experience working with students, alumni and employers.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement alumni engagement initiatives.
• Maintain alumni records and databases.
• Support career development programs, workshops, and activities to enhance student employability.
• Provide guidance to students in CV development, interview preparation, and job-search strategies.
• Coordinate career-related initiatives connecting students and graduates with employers.
• Establish and maintain relationships with alumni employers, industry partners, and professional associations.
• Organize and manage career fairs, recruitment days, and employer networking events.
• Develop promotional materials to increase awareness of engagement initiatives.
• Prepare regular reports on participation, engagement, and career outcomes.
