Job summary

Serco in the UAE seeks a highly experienced firefighter to join its Rescue & Firefighting Services at Al Minhad Air Base, Dubai. You will deliver ARFF/SRFF responses, manage emergencies, and maintain safety on site in coordination with military and civilian aircraft operations.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years fire/rescue experience, including 2 years at an ICAO Category Five airfield, holds ICAO Firefighter and NFPA certifications, and a valid UAE heavy vehicle license.

Qualifications

• Two to Five (2-5) years of fire/rescue experience including two years as a firefighter at an ICAO Category Five airfield.
• Military firefighting experience desirable.
• Certified medically fit for the role.
• Valid UAE heavy vehicle operator license.
• NFPA 1001 and ICAO firefighter qualifications (I/II, 1003, 472/1072) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Respond to ARFF and SRFF emergencies and extinguish fires.
• Operate and manage control room during incidents.
• Dispatch firefighting vehicles and coordinate with security.
• Maintain PPE, SCBA, and firefighting equipment.
• Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.
• Record incidents and compile after-action reports.
