Jaheziya is seeking a dedicated Fire Fighter to join its Emergency Services team in Abu Dhabi. You will respond to aircraft incidents, fires, medical emergencies, and rescues with professionalism and teamwork.
Responsibilities include equipment and PPE checks, maintaining readiness, training participation, and compliance with GCAA/ICAO standards. The role requires 2+ years of firefighting experience in aviation and a UAE driving license (preferred).
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Fire Fighter to join our Emergency Services team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring rapid and effective emergency response to incidents involving aircraft, fires, medical emergencies, and rescue operations. This role demands professionalism, teamwork, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence.
Respond promptly to all emergency calls, including aircraft incidents, structural fires, medical emergencies, and rescue operations.
Operate firefighting equipment, breathing apparatus, and rescue tools in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Work effectively as part of a team under the direction of a Lead Firefighter or Officer during incidents.
Conduct daily checks of vehicles, firefighting equipment, and PPE to ensure operational readiness.
Report any faults, deficiencies, or equipment damage immediately to supervisory staff.
Participate in routine station maintenance and housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment.
Assist with inventories, inspections, and record keeping as required.
Actively participate in daily training sessions to maintain operational skills and competencies as part of the ES Revalidation of Competence (ROC) programme.
Attend scheduled internal and external training courses, drills, and assessments.
Operate at all times in compliance with GCAA, ICAO, and ES regulations, procedures, and health & safety standards.
Report hazards, near-misses, and incidents following ES safety reporting protocols.
Maintain high standards of personal conduct, appearance, and professionalism as an ES representative.
Support team cohesion through collaboration, communication, and mutual respect.
Maintain operational fitness and meet required medical and physical standards.
Participate in regular health assessments and fitness testing as required by the department.
Perform other related duties as assigned, including participation in fire prevention activities, community engagement, and support operations.
Certified Aviation Firefighter qualification (mandatory).
Valid UAE Driving License (preferred).
Minimum 2 years of relevant firefighting experience, preferably in an aviation or airport environment.
