Job Title: Manual Tester

Location(s): Dubai

Years of Experience: 5-8 years

Job Description Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of IT experience, with 3+ years in the airline domain.
• Strong understanding of the airline industry, including inventory, pricing, booking, and payment concepts.
• Experience in manual testing of applications and software, with a focus on functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Exposure to API testing using tools like Postman or similar for manual validation.
• Familiarity with database testing, particularly with MongoDB and Oracle.
• Strong analytical skills to understand complex systems and troubleshoot issues.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

Role & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand product requirements and design appropriate test cases for manual testing.
• Execute test cases manually and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
• Work closely with developers to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolution of defects.
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospective meetings.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies, specifically in manual testing.
• Stay up to date with emerging manual testing techniques and best practices in the software testing field.
