Job Description Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of IT experience, with 3+ years in the airline domain.
- Strong understanding of the airline industry, including inventory, pricing, booking, and payment concepts.
- Experience in manual testing of applications and software, with a focus on functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Exposure to API testing using tools like Postman or similar for manual validation.
- Familiarity with database testing, particularly with MongoDB and Oracle.
- Strong analytical skills to understand complex systems and troubleshoot issues.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
Role & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand product requirements and design appropriate test cases for manual testing.
- Execute test cases manually and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
- Work closely with developers to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolution of defects.
- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospective meetings.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies, specifically in manual testing.
- Stay up to date with emerging manual testing techniques and best practices in the software testing field.
