Job summary

Serco in Dubai seeks expressions of interest for a Watch Manager to lead 24/7 Rescue & Firefighting Services (RFFS) on ICAO category airfields, including ARFF operations and SRFF tasks. You will act as Fire & Rescue SME for contract management and coordinate with emergency services.

Must have 5–10 years in fire/rescue with 5+ years in a supervisory ICAO Category 6 role, be a FVEY national with a heavy vehicle license, and hold Watch Manager qualifications with relevant fire service

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in fire/rescue with 5+ years in supervisory role at ICAO Category 6 airfield or higher.
• Experience may substitute education at two years per one year of education.
• FVEY national with passport; valid heavy vehicle operator license.
• Must hold Crew Manager and Firefighter/Driver qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and command of the Watch during incidents.
• Lead, manage and support personnel during operational incidents.
• Take command and control of aviation, structural and other emergencies.
• Coordinate RFFS resources during response.
• Make operational decisions based on risk and information.
• Coordinate aircraft firefighting and rescue operations.
• Manage incidents involving aircraft and ensure safety of endangered life.
• Implement Aerodrome Emergency Plan and coordinate with agencies.
