Job summary

Bombardier Aerospace Abu Dhabi is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic for its Abu Dhabi service center, opening in Q1 2027. You will perform maintenance on Bombardier aircraft per MOE and approved data, ensuring safety and quality, under supervision.

The role requires relocation to Abu Dhabi and the candidate must reside there. UAE-based applicants only; relocation support is not provided.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of aircraft maintenance experience on Bombardier Global or Challenger series.
• Up-to-date knowledge of Appendix I to Part-66.
• Basic knowledge of Part-145.
• Knowledge of EWIS and CDCCL where relevant.
• Knowledge of human factors, human performance and limitations.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Ability to communicate status in writing and verbally.
• Ability to use standard tools and ground support equipment.
• Ability to work with maintenance data and report defects.
• Ability to identify and rectify unsafe conditions.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Bombardier's MOE and applicable work instructions.
• Comply with Environmental/Health/Safety policies and procedures; participate in 5-S activities.
• Perform and document work per maintenance data.
• Identify defective components with the Material Return Form.
• Order parts in SAP.
• Carry out maintenance tasks under supervision.
• Process removed, uninstalled and rejected parts.
• Notify supervisors of defects or mistakes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

This position is open to candidates currently based in the UAE; relocation support is not available.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Adhere to Bombardiers Maintenance Organization Procedures, among which the relevant parts of the MOE and applicable work instructions.
• Comply with Environmental / Health / Safety policies and procedures. Participate in 5-S activities. Perform all work in a safe and timely manner
• Perform and document work performed per appropriate and approved maintenance data (e.g. aircraft maintenance manuals)
• Identify defective aircraft components with the Material Return Form
• Order parts in SAP
• Carry out maintenance tasks to the standard specified in the Maintenance Data under supervision of Certifying Staff/Support Staff, and to notify supervisors of defects or mistakes requiring rectification to re-establish required maintenance standards
• Properly process removed, uninstalled and rejected parts
• Correct defects under supervision of Certifying Staff/Support Staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned

How to thrive in this role?

• You have 3-5 year of aircraft maintenance experience specifically on Bombardier Aircraft Type I.e. Global or Challenger Series
• You are up to date basic knowledge requirements of Appendix I to Part-66
• You have basic knowledge of Part-145
• You have knowledge on EWIS and CDCCL when relevant
• You have knowledge on, and practicing of, human factors, human performance and limitations
• You have the ability to interpret and work with engineering drawings
• You have the ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual task status
• You have the ability to use standard tools, special tools and to operate ground support equipment
• You have the ability to work in accordance with the maintenance data and to notify the function responsible of defects or mistakes requiring rectification to re-establish required maintenance standards
• You have the ability to identify and rectify existing and potential unsafe conditions
• You have experience understanding critical tasks
• You have basic PC skills
• Able to work in shifts and occasional night shifts ( if required).
• Able to travel for business needs on short notice
