Job summary

DeepLight AI in the UAE is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to bridge business objectives and AI execution within banking projects. You will elicit requirements, translate them into technical specs, support UAT, and ensure regulatory, data governance, and ethical standards are met throughout the AI lifecycle.

You will partner with data scientists and ML engineers, define AI test strategies, document audit trails, and communicate complex concepts to stakeholders while driving measurable

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree and 5+ years in professional business analysis.
• Experience supporting AI/ML lifecycles, including requirements and UAT.
• Experience navigating regulatory compliance and data governance in financial services.
• Proven ability to translate vague business needs into precise AI metrics and benchmarks.
• Experience in model validation and detecting anomalies or bias.
• Maintain audit trails, versioning, and decision logic documentation for AI models.
• Deep understanding of data privacy, ethical AI, and internal governance.
• Analyze workflows to identify AI automation hotspots.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitation of workshops and interviews to gather and document business requirements, translating them into clear AI specifications for data inputs and model outputs.
• Partnering with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to validate the feasibility of AI use cases and ensure alignment with strategic business goals.
• Defining AI-specific test strategies, including model validation, bias detection, and performance benchmarking to ensure accuracy and fairness.
• Developing tailored training materials and user manuals to help staff understand AI confidence scores, outputs, and system limitations.
• Identifying high-impact opportunities for AI-driven automation and predictive analytics within existing banking processes.
• Acting as an 'analytics translator,' communicating complex requirements between business units and IT while ensuring traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
