Job summary

National Consulting Office for Engineering seeks an experienced leader to head the AI-PMO for a 24-month government AI transformation program in Dubai. You will own governance from charter to closure, milestone planning, and steering-committee reporting, directing a six-person onsite team.

Qualifications

• 10 years of program or project management experience
• 5 years of leading technology or digital transformation programs
• PMP certification mandatory; PgMP or MSP advantageous
• Direct experience with AI data or enterprise software programs for governments or large enterprises
• Experience running a PMO or multi-vendor governance with system integrators
• Steering-Committee level reporting and executive stakeholder management
• Strong written English; professional Arabic is an advantage
• Knowledge of AI delivery lifecycles and AI governance frameworks (ISO 42001 awareness preferred)

Responsibilities

• Establish and run AI-PMO program charter governance cadence and reporting rhythm
• Own the program plan and milestone schedule; ensure delivery of contracted deliverables
• Chair and minute program meetings and represent the office in client meetings
• Manage program risks, dependencies and change requests with escalation through steering committee
• Direct and develop onsite team of six; manage utilization, leave and replacements

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and run the AI-PMO program charter governance cadence RAID log and reporting rhythm weekly reports monthly dashboards quarterly reviews
• Own the program plan and milestone schedule manage delivery of every contracted deliverable to acceptance
• Chair and minute program meetings represent the office in all client meetings including sessions with the system integrator
• Manage program risks dependencies and change requests escalation through the steering committee
• Direct and develop the onsite team of six manage utilization leave and the replacement process

Requirements

• 10 years of program or project management with 5 years leading technology or digital transformation programs
• PMP certification mandatory PgMP or MSP is an advantage
• Direct experience managing AI data or enterprise software programs for government or large enterprise clients
• Experience running a PMO or multi-vendor governance structure including oversight of system integrators
• Steering-committee-level reporting and stakeholder management up to executive level
• Risk issue and change management on fixed-price engagements
• Strong written English professional Arabic is an advantage
• Working knowledge of AI delivery lifecycles and AI governance frameworks ISO 42001 awareness preferred
