Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Manager, Application Security to lead a dedicated security function in a fast‑growing, remote tech environment. You will drive the security strategy, embed secure practices across engineering, and guide IT/compliance professionals while engaging with senior leadership and external stakeholders.

You will own the security roadmap, oversee vulnerability management, design AI‑driven security capabilities, and ensure alignment with enterprise risk and customer trust.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands‑on security experience with leadership in building programs.
• Proven ability to guide engineers on secure development and threat mitigation.
• Strong strategic communication to non‑technical stakeholders and executives.
• Experience with AI‑assisted security tooling and automated workflows.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the application security roadmap including vulnerability management, threat modeling, security reviews, and remediation processes.
• Lead hands‑on security reviews, triage vulnerabilities, and scale security programs across teams.
• Embed secure development lifecycle practices with secure coding standards and automated scanning in CI/CD.
• Design and implement an AI‑first application security strategy and automated testing capabilities.
• Partner with engineering, IT operations, and compliance to align roadmaps and risk posture.
• Oversee third‑party and vendor security assessments and SOC 2/ISO alignment where applicable.
• Establish zero‑trust principles and coordinate IAM, network security, and security monitoring.
• Represent security posture to leadership, customers, auditors, and partners.
