Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an App Security Expert based in the United Arab Emirates for a fully remote, long-term engagement. You will strengthen software security, design realistic test environments, and evaluate vulnerabilities in traditional and AI-powered applications, with emphasis on LLM-related risks.

The role requires extensive security experience, strong coding practices, and expertise in AI-powered security testing.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in application security or cybersecurity engineering with ≥5 years.
• Strong understanding of application security principles and secure coding practices.
• Familiarity with OSWE-level concepts and advanced vulnerability research.
• Experience with AI-powered security testing (AI-SAST) and automated code analysis.
• Ability to design, implement, test application codebases and identify vulnerabilities.
• Excellent technical writing and clear communication in remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement fixtures containing vulnerabilities and secure implementations with OWASP focus on LLMs.
• Develop test scenarios addressing critical LLM security concerns.
• Create deterministic test cases and security-context manifests to evaluate posture.
• Develop reference solutions and hidden keys for evaluation by AI systems and scanners.
• Refine testing pipelines to be realistic, reproducible, and suitable for evaluation.
• Build, inspect, and secure application codebases and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Contribute to the design and evaluation of security architectures for traditional and agent-based apps.
• Apply AI-powered static testing to improve automated vulnerability detection.
• Document findings and remediation recommendations clearly.
• Collaborate with distributed teams and review peers’ contributions.
• Support improvements of evaluation pipelines by identifying weaknesses.
