Job summary

Aligntech International in Dubai seeks a General Accountant to manage financial records, ensure GAAP compliance, and support month-end close and reporting.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive process improvements, contribute to audits, and assist with budgeting, forecasting, and tax compliance. A strong command of Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite/QuickBooks) is required; CPA/CA/ACCA is preferred. Hybrid work arrangement offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience.
• Solid GAAP knowledge and internal control practices.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger and record all transactions accurately.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable and vendor payments.
• Reconcile bank statements and cash balances.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Support month-end close, journal entries, and variance analysis.
• Assist audits and regulatory reporting as required.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
• Drive process improvements and automation within accounting.
