Job summary

Orient Insurance PJSC is seeking a senior leader to establish and run enterprise-wide AI governance, data governance, and privacy programs. You will lead regulatory compliance, DPIAs, and risk assessments while aligning with business objectives across underwriting, claims, and finance.

Role requires extensive experience in governance for AI/ML platforms, data platforms, and privacy by design, with strong collaboration across functions and regions in the UAE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's preferred.
• 10+ years in data governance, privacy, risk, or information management.
• Experience in regulated industries (insurance, financial services, etc.).
• Hands-on experience governing AI/ML platforms and data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Establish and operate enterprise AI governance framework and policies.
• Lead data governance and privacy risk management programs.
• Ensure regulatory alignment (PDPL, GDPR, DIFC) and audit readiness.
• Define and maintain lifecycle governance for AI from development to retirement.
• Develop controls for explainability, fairness, bias, and human oversight.
• Lead data cataloguing, data quality, metadata, and lineage initiatives.
