Job summary

Orient Insurance PJSC in Dubai seeks an AI, Data Governance & Privacy Officer to establish and run the enterprise-wide governance framework for data, AI, privacy, and responsible digital innovation.

The role acts as the second-line governance authority for AI and data, ensuring value from data and AI while complying with UAE privacy laws, ethics, and risk management principles; you will lead frameworks, DPIAs, and audits across underwriting, claims, finance, and operations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data governance, privacy, risk, or tech governance.
• Minimum 5 years leading enterprise governance initiatives.
• Experience in insurance/financial services preferred.
• Experience governing AI/ML platforms and Generative AI.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain enterprise AI governance framework.
• Define policies and controls for AI usage.
• Chair the AI Governance Committee.
• Ensure regulatory and ethical alignment of AI initiatives.
• Develop data governance and privacy programs.
• Lead data protection and DPIA processes.
• Oversee vendor and cloud governance.
