Client of Discovered MENA is seeking a senior Content System Designer in Abu Dhabi to shape the design system language—vocabulary, tone, and patterns—that power product and brand across channels. You’ll work beyond copy polish, ensuring a shared foundation designers, engineers, and AI tools can rely on to deliver consistent experiences.

You’ll partner with Arabic and English experts to embed right-to-left considerations from day one, organize taxonomy-driven knowledge, and enable teams to own

• Build and grow the shared vocabulary that every product leans on.
• Figure out where brands should sound the same and where they should keep their own personality.
• Create go-to patterns for moments that matter like when something breaks or needs attention.
• Untangle journeys where unclear wording leaves people stuck.
• Recognise when the real fix is in the flow or the service not the sentence.
• Organise system knowledge so AI-powered workflows can work with it reliably.
• Decide where AI can be trusted to write and where it needs firm boundaries.
• Team up with Arabic and English experts so RTL is part of the plan from day one.
• Give teams tools to get content right themselves so you’re not rewriting everyone’s work.

You ll be the person who shapes how the Design System speaks That covers the vocabulary the patterns and the tone that every product and brand draws from This isn t about building components or polishing copy screen by screen It s about creating a shared foundation that makes everything clearer and more consistent then writing it down in a way that designers engineers and AI tools can all pick up and use If you re happy working in plain text files and repos as much as in Figma you ll feel right at home You don t have to code But you ll care how things get built and you ll stay close enough to launch to make sure the words that go live are the ones you meant
