Job summary
Halian is seeking a Forward Deployed AI Engineer in Abu Dhabi to own end-to-end agentic AI initiatives, partnering with business stakeholders to translate complex challenges into deployable AI solutions.
You will design, build, deploy, and operate enterprise-grade AI systems, guiding technical direction, architecture standards, governance, and cost optimization while collaborating with Product Owners, AI Architects, and external technology partners.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience building production-grade software.
- 4+ years with Generative AI, LLMs, or applied ML.
- Hands-on experience designing and deploying agentic AI solutions.
- Experience with MCP for connecting AI agents with systems.
- Strong Python skills and experience with TS/JS, Java, or C#.
- Experience deploying solutions in cloud environments with containers and observability.
Responsibilities
- Define technical direction for enterprise AI initiatives.
- Lead design, build, and deployment of agentic AI solutions.
- Establish reusable patterns and engineering standards.
- Mentor engineers and raise engineering quality.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and AI Architects.
