Job summary

Thales in Abu Dhabi is seeking a skilled technician to join its aerospace, defense and security teams. The role centers on mounting and cabling AESA antennas and passive sub-elements, and supporting near-field testing in anechoic chambers.

You will prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, issue tracking and performance analysis, mentor junior technicians, and contribute to process improvements to boost efficiency and quality in antenna integration.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in integration of complex sub-systems, ideally in defense and/or space applications.
• Bachelor in manufacturing.
• Fluent in English; Arabic knowledge is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform the mounting cabling of AESA antennas and passive sub-elements in line with procedures and quality standards.
• Support near-field tuning and test campaigns in anechoic chamber.
• Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation including test reports and issue tracking.
• Actively contribute to process improvements in antennas mounting/cabling procedures.
• Mentor and guide junior technicians in building blocks and antennas integrations.
