Job summary

ALEC Technologies in the UAE is seeking a Junior Technical Engineer to support the design and implementation of ELV and ICT networks on landmark projects. You will assist in cable schedules, drawings, testing, and site inspections alongside a team of engineers.

The role offers hands-on learning, exposure to international standards (TIA/EIA, ISO/IEC 11801), and opportunities to grow within ALEC's integrated contracting and technology solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in a related technical discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in ELV, security or related engineering fields.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and implementation of structured cabling systems for ICT, ELV and telecommunications networks.
• Support the preparation of cable schedules, cable routing plans and termination schedules.
• Ensure compliance with international standards such as TIA/EIA, ISO/IEC 11801, BICSI and client specifications.
• Participate in site inspections to verify cabling installation quality and compliance with drawings.
• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors and suppliers during project execution.

Education

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical/ Electronics/ Telecommunications Engineering or related technical discipline
