Al Nakheel Clearing and Forwarding LLC in Dubai seeks an entry-level to junior accountant to maintain daily records, process invoices, and manage AR/AP. The role supports VAT documentation, bank reconciliations, and monthly closings.

You will work with operations and finance teams to ensure timely billing, accurate documentation, and organized financial files. UAE/GCC experience is preferred, and proficiency in Excel and ERP systems is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• UAE or GCC accounting experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles, financial transactions and documentation.
• Practical experience in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
• Basic knowledge of UAE VAT and related documentation requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Experience with accounting software or ERP systems.
• Good communication and follow-up skills when dealing with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
• Hindi-speaking ability is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Maintain daily accounting records and accurately record financial transactions.
• Prepare verify and process sales purchase and service invoices, receipts, payments and other accounting entries.
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable including monitoring outstanding balances and following up with customers and suppliers.
• Coordinate with the Operations team and relevant departments to ensure timely billing and proper supporting documentation.
• Track invoices and outstanding payments for completed jobs, shipments and logistics services.
• Record and monitor freight transportation, clearing and other operational expenses.
• Maintain accurate customer and supplier accounts and perform account reconciliations as required.
• Organise and maintain invoices, receipts, payment vouchers and other financial documents.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies in financial records.
• Assist with monthly account closing, basic financial reports and VAT-related documentation.
• Perform other accounting and finance duties assigned by management.
