Job summary

Thrifty Car Rental UAE seeks an experienced Credit Controller to manage accounts receivable and ensure timely collections in a fast-paced leasing environment. You will maintain customer ledgers, allocate payments in JDE, and produce accurate SOAs for corporate clients.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in AR/collections, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with JD Edwards. UAE credit practices and regulatory awareness are a plus; bilingual English-Arabic is a bonus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in accounts receivable, credit control or collections.
• Experience in automotive, leasing or car rental preferred.
• Proficient with JD Edwards (JDE) or similar ERP.

Responsibilities

• Collect debts from assigned customers in line with credit terms.
• Maintain customer accounts, reconcile and align with ledgers.
• Allocate payments in JDE and produce customer SOAs.
• Submit invoices and statements to corporate customers with proofs.
• Reduce DSO through proactive collection and dispute resolution.
• Report to Sales executive, Head of Corporate and Credit Controller.
• Block customer accounts and request vehicle pull-back when needed.
• Prepare monthly ageing reports and MIS on defaults.
• Obtain balance confirmations biannually.
• Update trade licenses per expiry date.
