Job summary

Six Senses The Palm, Dubai is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to manage daily AP tasks within our luxury hospitality group. You will verify invoices, match them with purchase orders and receiving reports, and ensure accurate coding and timely payments.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Finance or Accounting, has professional certification, and at least one year of hotel accounting experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Professional accounting body certification is preferred.
• More than one year of hotel accounting experience.
• Advanced MS Office and Outlook skills.
• Familiar with POS, PMS and CRM platforms.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Obtain receiving reports and original invoices.
• Verify invoices against purchase orders and receiving reports for quantity and price.
• File invoices, purchase orders and receiving reports until payment.
• Present payment vouchers for approval before checks are prepared.
• Prepare check vouchers for payment and record daily checks drawn.
• Enter vouchers in Voucher Register and record liability for purchases.
• Reconcile accounts payable balance with general ledger monthly.
• Code documents according to company procedures.
