Job summary

Uae Job Alert is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead the AP team in our Dubai finance department. You will oversee invoice processing, approvals, and payments while driving accuracy and timeliness in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, 4–6 years AP experience with 1–2 years in leadership, and strong ERP skills (Oracle, NetSuite). You’ll excel in detail, communication, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and develop the AP team, including hiring and performance management.
Invoice & Payment Oversight: Manage end-to-end AP processes—invoice receipt, coding, approval workflows, and payment execution.
Compliance & Controls: Ensure adherence to internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Reporting & Reconciliation: Monitor AP aging, resolve discrepancies, and prepare month-end accruals and reconciliations.
Vendor Management: Serve as a liaison to vendors and internal stakeholders to address payment inquiries and resolve issues.
Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and implement best practices to streamline AP workflows.
Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to requests.
Vendor Onboarding: Oversee onboarding and ensure proper compliance documentation is in place.
