Position Overview
The Accounts Executive supports day-to-day finance operations by maintaining accurate accounting records, ensuring compliance with internal controls, and delivering timely financial reports.
This role plays a key part in general ledger management, accounts reconciliation, MIS reporting, and coordination with internal teams and external vendors, contributing to financial transparency and operational efficiency across the business.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the General Ledger and sub-ledgers to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Prepare and review G/L schedules for line manager review
- Reconcile GL accounts and prepare action-based schedules for monthly closing
- Generate MIS reports in line with group accounting policies and reporting standards
- Manage petty cash for the Regional Service Office, including reconciliation and compliance
- Coordinate with Shared Service Accounts Payable team to reconcile inventory and AP control accounts
- Analyze travel expenses and maintain monthly schedules
- Ensure strict compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and financial policies
- Create and circulate Local Purchase Orders and verify invoices before processing
- Clear cash, credit card, forex, and other clearing accounts on a monthly basis
- Prepare inter-company reports and follow up on pending invoices and ICMs
- Act as a finance point of contact, providing timely financial information to departments
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure correct invoice submission and VAT recovery
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- Minimum 3 years experience as an Accounts Executive or Accounts Assistant
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and reconciliations
- Experience with tax accounting and VAT processes is an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, MS Office, and SAP or similar ERP systems
- Strong attention to detail, reporting accuracy, and deadline management
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors
