Key Responsibilities
- Prepare standalone and consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in financial reporting across multiple business units.
- Maintain the chart of accounts and communicate structural or policy updates effectively.
- Lead coordination with external auditors for interim and year‑end audits.
- Prepare audit schedules, variance analyses, and technical accounting memos.
- Support impairment reviews, opening retained earnings reconciliations, and audit adjustments.
- Collaborate with tax teams to ensure compliance with corporate income tax (CIT) requirements.
- Coordinate and resolve financial statement‑related queries from tax authorities and auditors.
- Drive automation and process improvements in financial statement preparation and reporting.
- Ensure document retention compliance and adherence to internal controls.
- Conduct IFRS workshops and training sessions for internal finance teams.
- Liaise with business units and stakeholders for variance analysis and financial insight sharing.
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- Qualified Accountant (CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) mandatory.
- 5-6 years of external audit experience with a Big Four accounting firm preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of industry experience in financial reporting or accounting control.
- Deep understanding of IFRS, audit procedures, and financial consolidation.
- Experience using SAP BPC, SAP BW, and advanced Excel proficiency.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
