Description

Atmar is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with specialized experience in UAE real estate and property management to manage the complete accounting cycle for its property portfolio. The role oversees end-to-end financial operations including rent collection, tenant account management, payables, security deposits, service charges, VAT compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will maintain accurate property-level and company-wide financial records, execute monthly and annual closing procedures, handle UAE FTA tax requirements, and generate comprehensive management reports while meeting strict operational deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee rent collection workflows, PDC tracking, security deposit refunds/deductions, and tenant aging reports.
• Process accounts payable for contractors, utilities, and suppliers while preparing monthly landlord statements and remittances.
• Manage service charge accounting, budgeting, and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and file UAE VAT returns, support Corporate Tax compliance, and facilitate audit documentation.
• Generate monthly financial statements, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports for individual properties and corporate entities.

Requirements

• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (CPA, ACCA, or CMA preferred); minimum 3 years of accounting experience with at least 2 years in UAE real estate or property management.
• Technical Skills: Hands-on proficiency with real estate/accounting software (Yardi, SAP, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or Tally) and advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities.
• Key Competencies: In-depth understanding of PDC management, rent receivables, UAE VAT/Corporate Tax regulations, financial reporting, and high numerical accuracy.
