Job Summary

A company in Abu Dhabi is urgently seeking an experienced Accountant with a strong background in food and beverage and hospitality operations. The successful candidate will oversee financial transactions, VAT compliance, inventory management, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Applicants without relevant F&B or hospitality accounting experience will not be considered, and immediate joiners are required.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Handle UAE VAT filing and ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations.
• Perform accurate bank and supplier reconciliations.
• Monitor stock levels, maintain inventory records, and conduct inventory reconciliations.
• Track food costs, wastage, and operational variances to support cost control.
• Perform inventory valuation and maintain accurate financial records.
• Support month-end closing procedures and prepare financial reports.
• Maintain accounting documentation and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.

Candidate Requirements

• Educational Credentials: A degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is preferred; this qualification is estimated and not confirmed in the original advertisement.
