Job summary

websima dmcc is seeking an Accountant in Dubai, UAE to manage day-to-day accounting and maintain up-to-date financial records. The candidate will work with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as the core ERP system and assist in its implementation and data migration.

Job description

We are looking for an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, as this will be our core accounting and ERP system. The role will also be actively involved in the implementation, data migration, and ongoing use of Business Central.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily bookkeeping and accounting entries
• Accounts payable and receivable
• Bank and account reconciliations
• Invoicing, payments, receipts, and expense recording
• Monthly closing and preparation of P&L, cash flow, and management reports
• Project/deal-based cost allocation and profitability tracking
• UAE VAT and Corporate Tax accounting and filing support
• Work closely with the implementation team during Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central setup and migration
• Maintain accurate supporting documents and accounting records

Requirements:

• UAE accounting experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and UAE VAT
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is highly preferred, and candidates with practical Business Central experience will be given priority
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining accounting records independently
