Job summary

TXM Solutions in Dubai seeks a proactive Senior Accountant to independently manage day-to-day accounting, close monthly books, and prepare management reports for the VP Finance.

The role requires strong ERP experience (Dynamics 365/ NAV, SAP, or Oracle), 6–8 years of experience, and a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance. ACCA/CMA/CPA CA Inter are advantageous; trading or distribution sector experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as Dynamics 365 BC, Dynamics NAV, SAP or Oracle.
• Experience in trading or distribution companies is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce; professional qualifications (ACCA, CMA, CPA, CA Inter, etc.) advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing activities.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure all accounting transactions are accurately recorded.
• Prepare monthly management reports, financial schedules, and analyses for the VP Finance.
• Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, customer receivables, supplier payables, inventory, and intercompany balances.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and management accounts.
• Ensure accurate recording of transactions in the ERP system.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and providing required documentation.
• Assist with VAT accounting, reconciliations, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Support ad hoc finance projects and reporting requirements.
