We are a fashion boutique/fashion brand based in the UAE, seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the UAE.

Job Summary

We're looking for a skilled Accountant to maintain our financial records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including income, expenditure, assets, liabilities, and equity
• Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, including VAT and tax laws
• Manage and reconcile accounts, including bank statements and ledgers
• Prepare and submit tax returns and other financial documents to relevant authorities
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to management to support business decisions
• Ensure internal controls are in place to safeguard company assets and prevent financial mismanagement

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the UAE
