Job summary

Emirates Industrial Panel in Dubai seeks a qualified Accountant to manage supplier invoices, payments, VAT and month-end close. You will reconcile statements, prepare payment proposals, and coordinate with Stores for inventory accuracy. The role requires IFRS knowledge, UAE FTA compliance, and strong Excel skills.

2–5 years of relevant experience and a degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance are preferred. Fluent English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Commerce, Business Admin, Accounting or Finance.
• 2–5 years of accounting experience.
• Knowledge of IFRS and UAE FTA regulations.
• Proficient in accounting software and Excel.
• Strong analytical and confidentiality skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier payments and cashflow alignment.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare payment proposals and foreign currency payments.
• Perform inventory reconciliations with Stores team.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and month-end entries.
• Handle VAT transactions including Input VAT and RCM.
• Perform bank reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations.
• Support audits with accurate documentation.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and UAE regulations.

Responsibilities

• Process and record local and international supplier invoices accurately and on time
• Manage supplier payment schedules in line with agreed payment terms and cash flow requirements
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve invoice discrepancies
• Prepare supplier payment proposals and foreign currency payment requirements
• Perform monthly inventory reconciliations in coordination with the Stores team
• Maintain fixed asset registers, prepayment schedules, and month-end depreciation entries
• Process VAT-related transactions, including Input VAT and Reverse Charge Mechanism (RCM)
• Manage petty cash transactions, bank payments, receipts, and cheque processing
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and intercompany account reconciliations
• Support audits by maintaining accurate financial documentation and records
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, IFRS accounting standards, and UAE FTA regulations

Requirements

• Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• 2-5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong understanding of IFRS accounting standards and UAE FTA regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
