Job summary

Coveter Furniture Industry LLC is seeking an experienced Accountant to join its manufacturing team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have hands-on accounting experience with strong knowledge of cost accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and day-to-day finance operations.

The successful candidate will manage accounting activities related to manufacturing operations, including job-order costing, inventory accounting, VAT compliance, and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• 2–4 years UAE accounting experience required.
• Experience with SAP or ERP systems preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage job-order costing and allocation of materials, direct labour and overheads.
• Process invoices, billing and reconciliations.
• Handle AP, AR and GL entries.
• Maintain inventory records for materials, WIP and finished goods.
• Support UAE VAT filings and compliance activities.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports.

Coveter Furniture Industry LLC is seeking an experienced Accountant to join its manufacturing team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have hands-on accounting experience with strong knowledge of cost accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and day-to-day finance operations.

The successful candidate will manage accounting activities related to manufacturing operations, including job-order costing, inventory accounting, VAT compliance, and financial reporting. Candidates with experience in furniture manufacturing, carpentry, or upholstery industries will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage job-order costing and allocation of materials, direct labour, and overhead costs.
• Process supplier invoices, customer billing, and account reconciliations.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger entries.
• Maintain inventory accounting records for raw materials, work in progress, and finished goods.
• Support UAE VAT filings, compliance activities, and related documentation.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure timely financial reporting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
• Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Furniture manufacturing, carpentry, or upholstery experience is preferred.
• Immediate availability or short notice period is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
